Choose a table that matches your playing style and preferred betting limits
Baccarat is one of the most popular casino games in Malaysia — and there are solid reasons why so many players choose it over other games. The rules are easy to grasp, rounds move quickly, and the odds are among the best in online casino gaming. At 96m Casino, you can enjoy a full baccarat experience across more than 20 different table variants.
The game begins with two hands dealt — one for the "Player" and one for the "Banker". Unlike blackjack, you are not playing your own hand; instead, you predict which hand will come closest to 9. You can bet on Player to win, Banker to win, or a Tie — and that is the foundation of every baccarat game you will find at 96m Casino.
This is the part that trips up most new players — baccarat's card value system works a little differently from other card games:
A simple example: Player draws a 7 and an 8 = total 15, so the Player hand value is 5. Banker draws a K and a 9 = total 9 (K is worth 0), so the Banker hand value is 9. Banker wins!
Many players wonder — when exactly is a third card dealt? This is not the player's decision; it happens automatically according to fixed rules:
The beauty of playing baccarat at 96m Casino is that all these technical rules are handled automatically by the system and dealer. Your only job is to decide where to bet — Player, Banker, or Tie — and let the dealer take care of the rest.
Baccarat is far more than an ordinary casino game — it carries a rich history and a distinct prestige that has made it the go-to choice for serious players across Asia, including Malaysia. Here are some key reasons why it continues to hold a special place:
First, an exceptionally low house edge. The Banker bet carries a house edge of just 1.06% — one of the lowest across all casino games. That means for every RM100 you wager, you are statistically only "paying" RM1.06 as the cost of play.
Second, speed and simplicity. A single baccarat round can wrap up in under a minute. There are no complex strategic decisions like in blackjack or poker — you simply choose where to place your bet and let the cards do the rest.
Third, a glamorous and exclusive atmosphere. At 96m Casino, our live baccarat tables with professional dealers deliver an experience that feels just like being at a five-star casino in Genting Highlands — from the comfort of your own home in Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Johor Bahru, or anywhere else in Malaysia.
